Christmas Decorations

The weather here has generally been in the 70's and 80's during the day with palm trees swaying in the breeze. It just doesn't seem like the Christmas season. But we looked at the calendar again and decided that we really ought to consider some Christmas decorations around "The Bus". After all, our neighbors places are lighted pretty well with Christmas lights and Santa Clauses after dark.

So off we went searching for Christmas decorations that would be festive yet easy for us to store in "The Bus" after Christmas. We don't have the space we used to have at home. But we found a lighted spiral "Christmas tree" and some snowmen which looked storable.

Naturally, after we set it up, we discovered the strand of lights had a broken wire (made in China, of course). So the next day it was back to the store for a replacement.

Following the second trip to the retailer in McAllen, we finally got our "tree" up accompanied by a set of three "snowman Santas" and a big red bow on the door.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
