For us New Years Day started with a Bloody Mary, followed by the Rose Parade, the Gator Bowl, an old movie on Turner Classics followed by the Rose Bowl. A quiet day with the windows open, the sun shinning brightly, no breeze, and a temperature in the 80's. A good way to begin a New Year although we did skip the traditional black-eyed peas served in the Lounge, but I don't expect that to effect our fortunes in 2009.
We wish all of our family and friends a year full of friendship, love, laughter, and good health. Oh yes, we also hope your investments in the stock market rebound soon.
