We had our choice of deep fried or baked fish, french fries or baked potato. Of course, the dinner came with cold slaw and all of the usual trimmings plus drinks. It was really a pretty good dinner, especially considering the total price of $6.00.
But the best part is having a nice dinner with so many Winter Texans from all over the United States and Canada who, like us, are here to escape the cold weather up North. They really are a good group of people, most of them old people like us, so everyone can set and discuss their aches and pains . . . and the pleasures of aging.
